Khao Kheow Open Zoo is distributing icy treats to animals as relief for heat, relaxing animals from stress. Khao Kheow Open Zoo’s Director Suriya Saengpong has said that the zoo is now feeding frozen fruits and syrups to animals to increase their energy and relive their stress and savageness caused by the extreme heat during March and April. The Zoological Park Organization will permit free entry to zoos under its care as a gift for fathers on the National Father’s Day. The zoos that join in this promotion include Dusit Zoo in Bangkok, Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi, Korat Zoo in Nakhon Ratchasima, Songkhla Zoo, Khon Kaen Zoo and Ubon Ratchathani Zoo.
