On the occasion of Labour Day on May 1st 2013 entertaining events were lined up at Khao Kheow open zoo for the visitor, animals and employees.
The zoo celebrated this day of commemorating hard work and sincerity by paying a tribute to all the hard working employees.
Last Wednesday the zoo saw a string of animal performance shows that left the guests completely enthralled and entertained.
A fleet of 15 Humboldt Penguins from Peru paraded to resemble a perfect set of disciplinarians in tuxedos. The penguins were later treated with a pool filled with ice to cool down the temperature from 25 to a comfortable 18 degrees for their graceful diligence.
The zoo also presented a baby Albino Common Barking Deer, which turned out to be a great visual delight for all the children. Excited at its site, children expressed quite an enthusiastic approach. Common Barking Deer are native to South East Asia, including many parts of Thailand. The one in Khao Kheow Open Zoo is a direct descendant of the very first Albino Barking Deer that was presented to the zoo by HM the Queen.
All those who celebrated their labour day with us at Khao Kheow Open Zoo, we are grateful for your presence and we hope that everyone had great fun. Once again we wish everyone best wishes of Labour Day and a successful life ahead.
