As we all knew, Khao Kheow Open Zoo had conducted the ‘Amazing Birds photo contest’ since 26^th Dec 2012, the competition got over on 28^th Feb 2013. It garnered an enthusiastic response of 163 entries. It was reassuring to see so many talented photographers and nature enthusiast. On Sunday 31^st march 2013 our honorable Assistant Director of the zoo, Mr. Khun A-pi-det Sing-ha-se-nee, presented the winners of the competition. From the total 163 entries, 10 finalists were selected. The first three winners were presented with cash prizes and trophies. The other 7 finalists were treated with an honorable mention, certificates and 1000 baht each.

At Khao Kheow Open Zoo we take pride in encouraging talent and wildlife conservation. Through such initiatives we are at a constant effort to educate people about nature conservation and encouraging them to spread the message of protecting our planet. Wildlife and nature enthusiasts are always welcome to participate in our various activities, as we shall keep you posted about any such initiative in the future.
