The birth of the baby Meerkats came just days before the Zoo hosts a Children’s Day event on Saturday. “It’s a pleasure for us to have four pups as our newest members. Animals receive icy treats at Khao Kheow Open Zoo
Khao Kheow Open Zoo is distributing icy treats to animals as relief for heat, relaxing animals from stress. Khao Kheow Open Zoo’s Director Suriya Saengpong has said that the zoo is now feeding frozen fruits and syrups to animals to increase their energy and relive their stress and savageness caused by the extreme heat during March and April. Khao Kheow Open Zoo is inviting the general public to enjoy the pelicans, which have migrated to the zoo during the rainy season. A large group of Spot-billed Pelicans were seen flocking to the reservoir of Khao Kheow Open Zoo’s Botanical Garden to catch small fish alongside the resident painted storks, forming a spectacular sight. Chiang Mai Zoo Welcomes A Baby Red-Shanked Douc Monkey
Chiang Mai Zoo has proclaimed that it will consolidate a naming competition for a baby red-shanked douc monkey, the sixth of its kind in the zoo. Niphon Wichairat the Director of Chiang Mai Zoo said the zoo newly welcomed its new member, red-shanked douc monkey whose sex was still obscure. Zoos offer fathers free entry on Father’s Day
The Zoological Park Organization will permit free entry to zoos under its care as a gift for fathers on the National Father’s Day. The zoos that join in this promotion include Dusit Zoo in Bangkok, Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi, Korat Zoo in Nakhon Ratchasima, Songkhla Zoo, Khon Kaen Zoo and Ubon Ratchathani Zoo. The Royal Successors: Introducing Lion Cubs In The Zoo
At Khao Kheow Open Zoo we have more exciting news to declare. Our zoo in Sriracha has been blessed by the inclusion of 2 new baby lions. The honorable zoo director, Khun Su-ri-ya Saeng-pong revealed to the public one male and one female lion cub. These cubs are both two months old. Visitors in the zoo can not only take a look at these wonderfully playful cubs but also pet them. Particolored flying squirrel (Hylopetes Alboniger) are vastly populated and they are just getting doubled all the time therefore they are one of least concerned Rodents as per the study of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Now it still does matter because one would not know when it may tremble down just like other species.
In spite of rich distribution it is seldom presumed that Particolored flying squirrel’s count is not recorded hence there is no concrete evidence of their
